How Do Chiro’s Work?
When a veteran attends for a chiro appointment, they will likely go through a screening process where the practitioner will take a detailed health history, and rule out contraindications for manual manipulations of the musculoskeletal system. The Chiropractor may request X-Ray imaging to help have a detailed view of the spine to assess any visible issues that might be underlying in the veteran. Generally, the veteran is of reasonable health and the chiropractor will perform a soft-tissue manipulation (massage) and manual manipulation of the spine.
A course of treatments may be recommended to help hasten the recovery process and this will be determined if it’s clinically relevant.
