A veteran’s location shouldn’t reduce their access to services!
Many rural or isolated veterans find accessing health services via telehealth easy and simple. The advancements in technology mean that they no longer have to travel excessive distances or miss out on services.
Simply put, it’s accessing health services remotely. This can be talking to an exercise physiologist, psychologist or dietitian via phone or zoom and having a treatment plan that they can implement independently.
The eligibility criteria for each service will vary however holding at a minimum a Non-Liability Mental Health White Card will assist with access to mental health support services.
